You drop an image
It's sent over an encrypted connection and held only in temporary memory for the scan.
We read the clues
The scanner inspects texture, noise, sharpness, colour and frequency patterns that differ between real cameras and AI generators.
You get a verdict
A clear estimate with a confidence level and the plain-language signals behind it. Then your scan is deleted — or you can contribute it, with your label, to help the detector improve.
Privacy & helping out
There's no account and no sign-up. A normal scan runs in temporary storage for a few seconds and is then deleted — we don't keep it. If you'd like to help, you can contribute an image together with your own real-or-AI label: contributed images are stored and used to improve the detector, and every one makes it better on real-world cases. Only contribute images you're comfortable sharing.
Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes — free, with no account or sign-up.
- Do you keep my photos?
- Only if you choose to. A normal scan is deleted the moment it finishes. If you tap a "contribute" button after a result, that image and your label are stored to help improve the detector.
- How accurate is it?
- It reliably flags mainstream AI generators and real photos, and holds up on social-media and screenshot images. It's an estimate, not proof — newer "flow-style" generators are harder, so always use your own judgment too.
- What can it detect?
- Fully AI-generated images from common tools (Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, Midjourney, Firefly, and chat-AI image makers). It is not a deepfake/face-swap or photo-edit detector.
